It’s just a theoretical decline: The number of Munich children who switch from fourth grade elementary school to high school has fallen compared to last year. At 5,635, however, it is still higher than in 2021. The bottom line is that 153 students will switch to high school in September, 2.6 percent fewer than in 2022.
