Commerzbank and employee representatives have agreed on a new branch network nationwide. For Munich this means that seven branches will close and twelve locations will remain. The upheaval in the industry is troubling Commerzbank: branches are losing more and more importance for the daily banking business of customers, the smartphone is becoming more important. That is why personal advice via telephone, video, chat and e-mail is to be expanded in the future.
As soon as the schedule for the branch closings is set, the customers will be informed. Affected are the branches in Bonner Platz, Cosimapark, Fraunhoferstraße, Giesing, Leopoldstraße 230, Max-Weber-Platz and Riesenfeldstraße.
