Munich: comic artists meet scientists – Munich

How do you present a topic like climate change in a vivid way? Or a historical event of which there are no pictures? The medium of comics can be of help here by visualizing complex relationships or filling memory gaps and thus providing “images for the invisible”. What that can look like is the subject of a symposium of the same name in the Literaturhaus. Artists such as Markus Färber, Birgit Weyhe and Reinhard Kleist spend an afternoon in “dialogue with science”. And on several panels dealing with natural sciences, psychology, history and new forms of digital application. Admission is free, but we ask that you register via [email protected]. Alternatively, you can also watch the event at www.comic-in-bayern.de watch as a stream.

Pictures for the Invisible, Sat., Feb. 11, 2-9 p.m., Literaturhaus Munich, Salvatorplatz 1, www.comic-in-bayern.de
