Will the new construction of a wholesale market hall work – or not? The majority of the city council wants to have clarity on this by the end of March 2024, three months earlier than promised by municipal representative Kristina Frank (CSU). According to SZ information, the general assembly decided on this ultimatum on Wednesday evening at the request of the green-red town hall coalition in a non-public session. The amendment, which according to several city council members was accepted, has been submitted to the SZ. It states that the department should report “on the outcome of the negotiations with the bidder by the end of the first quarter of 2024 at the latest.”
