Munich city center: shop detective harassed 17-year-olds in the locker room – Munich

The man accused the teenager and a friend of stealing something and asked them to undress. Then the young woman went to the police.

Police have arrested a 36-year-old store clerk suspected of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old in a store on Kaufingerstrasse in downtown Munich. On Monday around 6 p.m., the trainee was standing in front of a shop in the pedestrian zone with an acquaintance of the same age. There, the 36-year-old accused both of shoplifting, the police said.

When the youths denied this, the man grabbed one of them by the wrist, dragged her into a nearby shop and asked her to undress in a changing room, otherwise he would call the police. When the 17-year-old stood undressed in front of him, he asked her to perform sexual acts on him, according to a police spokesman. The 17-year-old refused and asked for the police to be called.

After a brief dispute, she left the store and notified police officers who were nearby. After an immediate search, they were able to locate the 36-year-old suspect who lives in Munich in a detective’s office. A preliminary investigation into a sexual offense was initiated against the man.
