Munich: City buys 70 million apartments from Dawonia – Munich

The city can buy 325 apartments from Dawonia. The group has let itself be negotiated down, one is happy in the town hall – because the balance of power on the real estate market has turned.

By Munich standards, it’s almost a bargain: the city can buy 325 apartments in Milbertshofen for 70 million euros from the real estate group Dawonia in one fell swoop. Up to six million euros would be added if the municipal housing association GWG exhausts the additional building rights for a further 83 apartments over the next ten years. This emerges from a draft resolution from the municipal department for the non-public part of the general assembly on Wednesday. In the parliamentary group meetings on Monday, there was a stable majority for the purchase. SPD/Volt, CSU/Freie Wahler and The Party/Die Linke want to vote yes, the Greens/Pink List had not yet made a decision.
