Munich: Christl Sittenauer presents her first cabaret solo – Munich

It wasn’t exactly the perfect timing for Christl Sittenauer to switch from improv theater to cabaret, as a member of the new ensemble of the laughing and shooting society: the program was hardly finished when Corona came. Even the premiere was an eternal stalemate, in the meantime they have performed with great success – and will do so again in December in their local “shop” – but in the long run Sittenauer had far more free time than he wanted and hoped for. So, thrown at herself by the tide of the times and triggered by misogynistic remarks by Schopenhauer or her own son, she quickly wrote her first solo program: “Women are not people”. And creates a sensitive and subtle ebb and flow of misunderstandings and inequalities between science, gendered children’s books and norms. The premiere on Tuesday in clubhouse is already sold out, but on the 18th and 19th it will be in the Heppel & Ettlich further.

Christl Sittenauer, Tuesday, November 8th, 7.30 p.m., clubhouse, Occamstr. 8th; Fri. and Sat., 18 and 19 Nov., 8 p.m., Heppel & Ettlich, Feilitzschstraße 12, Tel. 18 11 63
