Visitors to the city center must be prepared for possible delays on Sunday. In the morning at ten o’clock the charity run “Giro di Monaco” starts, a peace and donation campaign, in which the participants will jog 5.4 kilometers on the old town ring road, which is closed to cars during this time (registration at www.giro-di-monaco.de). The start and finish is Blumenstraße, where there will also be a stage program until 2.30 p.m.
At midday, it also gets crowded on Marienplatz, when the FC Bayern Munich footballers celebrate their tenth championship in a row on the town hall balcony at around 1 p.m., together with numerous fans.
