A 24-year-old was seriously injured in an argument near the main train station on Sunday evening. Witnesses called the police at around 9:45 p.m. and reported that a physical altercation was taking place between two men in a building passageway on Goethestrasse. Officers found the victim lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. The man was taken to hospital and, according to police, his life is not in danger.
The suspected perpetrator had already fled before the police arrived. Both those involved are attributed to the drug milieu around the main train station. Apparently they had already been involved in an argument earlier that evening – there was also a police operation, but this had no consequences for either of them. The perpetrator is now being sought for attempted murder.
