Munich: Can the city simply ban climate blockades? – Munich

Nowhere else in Germany is the state taking action against climate activists as hard as in Munich – and now the Bavarian state capital has increased the pressure again. With a so-called general decree, which was published online on Friday evening, the city preventively banned all climate protests “in which participants connect firmly to the road” or sit on motorways, unless these actions are announced 48 hours in advance. This is valid until January 8th. What does that mean? What are the consequences? And is that legal?
