“Commercial unit with the possibility of changing usage”, advertisements with similar-sounding titles are repeatedly placed on real estate portals. What the somewhat cumbersome paraphrase means: The small business can go so that someone can live here in the future. A supposedly creative idea, as it is repeatedly touted in Munich’s inner city districts, in order to overcome the lack of living space. Doesn’t everyone benefit when the hairy dog salon, the smelly workshop or the frying restaurateur is replaced by a quieter neighborhood?
