A six-year-old boy was hit by a bus in the Glockenbachviertel on Wednesday and, according to the fire department, was moderately injured. The boy was hit head-on by the vehicle around nine o’clock on Wittelsbacherstrasse and remained lying in front of it. He suffered multiple abrasions.
Coincidentally, a pediatrician and a paramedic were nearby who could immediately provide first aid. An ambulance took the boy and his father to a children’s hospital. The bus driver was taken care of by emergency services. The police are investigating how the accident happened.
