Six people were slightly injured in a collision between a tram and a bus in Munich on Friday morning. As the fire department reports, the driver of bus 183 in the direction of Arabellapark wanted to turn into the city onto Englschalkinger Straße at around 9:17 a.m. There was a collision with a tram on line 16.
The collision was so violent that the bus was pushed onto a grass verge. Both vehicles were also significantly damaged. Of the six people with minor injuries, one was taken to hospital.

The vehicles had to be salvaged and a damaged traffic light pole had to be put down. Englschalkinger Straße was completely closed towards the city center for the duration of the accident investigation, which led to significant traffic delays.
The fire department has not yet been able to provide any information about the amount of property damage or the cause of the accident. The police have started investigations.
