A safe with almost 20,000 euros in cash was stolen by unknown burglars from a butcher’s shop in Olympiadorf. They also took the change from the register with them. The burglary must have been committed after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, and it was discovered around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, said a police spokeswoman. The perpetrator or perpetrators forced their way into the store through a smashed window and took the entire safe with them. Witnesses who have observed anything suspicious in the area of Lerchenauer Strasse, Helene-Mayer-Ring or Nadistrasse are asked to call 089/29 10-0 or contact any police station.
