Munich-Bogenhausen: Thieves steal one million euros – in an apartment – Munich

A trio of thieves made rich booty when they broke into an apartment in Bogenhausen on Good Friday around midday: according to initial police estimates, the damage was more than one million euros. Handbags, watches and jewelry from brands such as Hermès, Cartier and Bulgari were stolen.

A neighbor in the apartment building on Felix-Dahn-Strasse noticed the apartment door broken open around 2:15 p.m. and called the police. The resident, about whom police did not provide any further information, was not at home at the time.

The police have a detailed description of the perpetrators – presumably from recordings from surveillance cameras. The gang therefore consisted of a man and two women. The man is 35 to 50 years old; He was wearing an orange sweater, a light shirt, a dark jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball cap and gray gloves. A female perpetrator is described as 25 to 40 years old, dark hair, wearing a white quilted jacket and gray trousers. The third member of the group is 25 to 40 years old and was wearing a black coat and white gloves.
