Munich: BMW builds Talent Campus for its 4,000 employees – Munich

The Munich car company is converting to e-mobility. They should learn what the employees need to be able to do in new buildings, which should also make an architectural statement.

The clear light of a sunny February day falls into the lobby of the BMW headquarters on Petuelring. Large-format pictures by Gerhard Richter attract the visitor’s attention. Nicole Haft-Zboril, who heads real estate management for the BMW Group, leans over a display case with a detailed model of the factory premises, which was completed to mark the 100th anniversary of the main plant in Munich. It was also the 50th birthday of the four-cylinder engine. It is the result of an architectural competition that was completed in the summer of 2022 and was intended to create a master plan for this special production site, in the middle of the city, embedded in residential areas, just six kilometers from Marienplatz.
