The emergency services experienced a happy event on Tuesday evening in Parkstadt Schwabing. Shortly after half past seven in the evening, the integrated control center received a call about an impending birth. An ambulance then made its way to Otl-Aicher-Straße.
But before he could make his way to a hospital with the expectant mother, the woman’s contractions came at ever shorter intervals. Instead of going to the clinic, additional emergency services were called in for the imminent birth, as the Munich fire department announced.
When they reached the ambulance, the birth was already in full swing and little Jonas saw the light of day without any help from the emergency doctor. The baby was then taken to a clinic in an incubator, the mother followed in a second ambulance. When they arrived at the station, the two were reunited. Both Jonas and his mother are well and can now recover from the stressful moment of surprise.
