After the attacks on two men and a woman at the party kiosk on Reichenbachbrücke, Mohamed J. was sentenced to eleven years in prison for attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm. The first jury chamber at the Munich I Regional Court considered it proven, among other things, that the 25-year-old had rammed a broken beer bottle in the neck of an uninvolved passer-by from behind on that June night in 2021 and injured a main artery. The court ruled this insidious attack as attempted murder.
