Munich: Arrest after whistling on the Isar – Munich

When a 22-year-old woman from Munich went swimming in the Isar near the cable bridge at around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, two men from the opposite bank whistled at her in an offensive manner. According to the police, neither the woman nor her seven companions, who were sitting on the Isar, responded. The two men then began throwing stones at the 22-year-old and the group. The bathing woman was hit in the leg and slightly injured.

The police were then able to arrest the two suspects. It turned out that they were two Ukrainian citizens without permanent residence in Germany who were carrying fake Romanian passports. The alleged perpetrators, 20 and 22 years old, are being investigated for dangerous bodily harm and counterfeiting, and an investigating judge issued arrest warrants.
