A 23-year-old man from Allgäu was arrested on Wednesday for attempted murder. Last Sunday shortly before 2 a.m., he and another Allgäu resident got into an argument with a 27-year-old from Munich in front of an arcade on Goethestrasse. After being physically attacked, the Munich native fled to the arcade. The two Allgäu residents followed him and the argument continued in the arcade rooms.
During the course of this, the Munich man suffered a life-threatening stab wound to the upper body and was taken to hospital by emergency services. The two attackers were initially able to escape. But now the 23-year-old’s whereabouts have been found. He was arrested on Wednesday in the Munich city area and is now in custody.
