A scandal over fabricated grades caused the CDU politician to resign from a teaching position in Aachen in 2015. He is now offering a seminar again at the Ludwig Maximilians University. The interest of Munich students is great.
The Zwilling Scholl Institute (GSI) for political science at the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) will in future be supported by teaching staff with practical political experience. Armin Laschet, former Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and ex-federal chairman of the CDU, has accepted a teaching position at the GSI in the 2024 summer semester. Together with a main lecturer, he will lead a seminar entitled “Abraham Accords Declaration: The Arab World in Transformation?”, which will take place in four blocks.
