Munich: Are Schörghuber and Inselkammer interested in the Old Academy? – Munich

The mood on the Munich real estate market is miserable. New construction projects are on the brink or are being stopped, companies are going bankrupt. But one of these bankruptcies, namely that of the Alte Akademie project run by René Benko’s Signa Group, is apparently triggering a thirst for action among some private investors, despite all the talk of a crisis. According to SZ information, several to four companies have expressed interest in taking over and completing the currently dormant construction project on Neuhauser Straße – i.e. turning the former monastery complex into a complex with shops, offices, restaurants and apartments.
