A condominium currently costs 13 percent less than a year ago, and according to the city report, prices are also falling in other segments. Only at the top is there little sign of the crisis: a single-family house changed hands for a record value of 25.7 million euros.
At the beginning of 2022, prices went up again, but since the middle of last year they have fallen by more than ten percent in some cases: That is the core message from the new real estate market report for the city of Munich for 2022, the municipal officer Kristina Frank (CSU) on Tuesday presented at a press conference. At the appointment, she also gave first insights into the figures for 2023. According to this, an existing condominium that was resold cost 9,200 euros per square meter in the second quarter of 2022, in the second quarter of this year it is only 8,050 euros, that means a drop of 13 percent.
