A group of young prisoners in Stadelheim threaten, blackmail and beat other inmates if they cannot prove in black and white that they are not sexual offenders.
“This is everyday life in prison for young people in Stadelheim,” says lawyer Benedikt Stehle – and by this he means threats and violence. The four defendants who are currently sitting before the Munich district court are likely to be quite special candidates: The 19 to 21 year olds have a lengthy criminal record and the accusation that they blackmailed, beat and threatened fellow inmates in the youth prison.
