Due to construction work, Munich Airport can no longer be reached directly by S-Bahn this weekend until 3 a.m. Monday morning and next weekend from Friday, January 19th, 9:50 p.m. to Monday, January 22nd, 3 a.m. The S1 only goes to the visitor park, replacement buses run from there. According to the railway’s calculations, the journey with the S1 from the main station will take around 54 minutes. The buses from Ostbahnhof take one hour and eleven minutes.

During this time, the railway inspects the entire tunnel structure at the airport and has the rails ground. In addition, overhead lines will continue to be replaced on the S8 route. Further information, including restrictions during the week and the location maps of the bus stops, is available on the Homepage of the Munich S-Bahn as well as in the Deutsche Bahn apps.
