A gas station in Munich has been attacked again, this time on Hochstrasse in Haidhausen. It is the eighth robbery this year, the descriptions of the unknown perpetrator and his actions are mostly similar; maybe it’s a serial killer. According to the police, a masked man entered the sales room of a gas station near the Gasteig at around 11:20 p.m. late on Saturday evening. He asked the cashier to put money in a bag and give it to him.
He pointed to the waistband of his trousers, in which the handle of a revolver could be seen. The clerk handed over a bag containing around 500 euros in cash and cigarettes. The perpetrator fled, a search with more than ten stripes was unsuccessful. The perpetrator is said to be about 1.85 meters tall, 20 to 25 years old, have a strong build and speak good German with a foreign accent. He was dressed in red sweatpants, a white Norwegian sweater with black diamonds and wore black gloves.
A police spokesman confirmed that the descriptions of the perpetrators and the course of the crimes over the past few weeks were strikingly similar. It is typical that the stranger does not openly show his weapon. So far it has not been possible to say whether it is a real weapon or an apparent weapon. One thinks it is possible that a serial offender is on the way.
Since the beginning of January, gas stations on Kapuzinerstrasse, Landsberger Strasse, on Sonnenstrasse, on Bodenseestrasse, Nymphenburger Strasse, again on Kapuzinerstrasse and most recently on Leonrodstrasse have been attacked. The perpetrator usually stole a few hundred euros and cigarettes. The police are asking for information on telephone 089/2910-0.
