Munich: A Shakespeare evening by the Falckenberg School in the Kammerspiele – Munich

They look as if they had broken into the costume collection of the Munich Kammerspiele at night and, under the guidance of Juliane Kalkowski, made use of it without restraint. Batman meets Batwoman, various brides or princesses jump around, two of them look like they have come out of an ancient production. Together, the ten young people in the Werkraum currently form the third year of the Otto Falckenberg School. This evening is their big performance, and big is true. “The world goes mad with its fruits” is a fast-paced Shakespeare pastiche, a bit like the often played “All of Shakespeare’s works slightly abridged”, but funnier. And fueled by the indispensable charm of youth.
