The city is stable above the 50 mark for incidence. Anyone who has not been vaccinated, recovered or is under 14 years old is only allowed to meet a maximum of ten unvaccinated people from three households. The 3G rule still applies.
Everyday life for unvaccinated Munich residents becomes even more complicated. The so-called 3-G rule has just come into force, now the corona measures are tightening again. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports a seven-day incidence of 65.7 for this Thursday, the value is steadily increasing. Because the city was already above the 50 mark for the third consecutive day on Tuesday, stricter rules now apply, as set out in the Ordinance on Infection Protection Measures. What will change from now on in the contact restrictions:
Private meetings are only allowed for a maximum of ten people from a maximum of three households – those who have been completely vaccinated, those who have recovered and children under 14 years of age are not included. For private events on special occasions, such as birthday, wedding or christening parties and club meetings, only 50 people are permitted outdoors and 25 people indoors. And again: those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered are practically bonus guests and are not counted. The same limits – 50 people outside, 25 inside – apply to public events for special occasions. Important: On such an opportunity, the guests must be clearly delimited and invited from the start. Vaccinated and recovered people also count here.
Regardless of whether public or private: The 3-G rule has already been in effect for all events in closed rooms since Monday in Munich. It takes effect when a city or county is above the incidence of 35 for three consecutive days. And it says: Only those who have been fully vaccinated, recovered or tested negative are allowed to go to restaurants, the gym, the cinema or as a visitor to the hospital, for example. A negative rapid test must not be older than 24 hours, a PCR test not more than 48 hours old. In addition: From October 11th, the necessary rapid antigen tests will also be chargeable.
The political intention behind the 3-G rule is clear: people should be made to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Because immunization is now progressing more slowly, the city council decided on Wednesday to make some changes to the vaccination center in Riem: capacities will be significantly reduced, opening times adjusted, and the choice of vaccine will be free. At the same time, the mobile vaccination teams should continue to be decentralized in the city. In short: It should be made easy for as many people as possible to get vaccinated.
