During a physical altercation between two men on Sunday morning in the Karl-Preis-Platz subway station, a 26-year-old almost pushed a 30-year-old man in front of the subway. The attacked fell on the edge of the platform, but did not roll onto the tracks. The driver of the incoming train saw him lying there and immediately applied the emergency brake.
According to the police, it is still unknown why the 26-year-old attacked his victim. Neither would have known each other. The alleged perpetrator first hit the man and then pushed him so hard that he fell on the edge of the platform. The 26-year-old then fled, pursued by the attacked man. On the surface, the police arrested the suspect. The 30-year-old escaped with minor injuries.
