After reporting on the case, two acquaintances recognized the 17-year-old suspect on Monday morning at around 8 a.m. at the Pasing S-Bahn station and notified the station security. At around 8.15 a.m., the youngster was arrested by the federal police. The police said at the press conference that he appeared apathetic and did not offer any resistance. Two knives were found in the 17-year-old. The officers have not yet been able to tell whether the murder weapon is also among them. According to the police, there are no findings so far on the question of whether the 17-year-old was at the train station because he might want to flee.
The prosecutor is treating the case as a murder thing, as a spokeswoman said. The girl was apparently asleep when the perpetrator stabbed with the knife.
