Multiverse Labs has launched a new “Metaverse City” in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a move by Emirates to enhance the region’s tourism industry.
The new metaverse city is called Sharjahverse.explainfrom Multiverse Labs is a “physics-real” metaverse spanning over 1,000 square miles of the Emirates. The city will help support the local tourism industry. and possibly creating new jobs in the metaverse.
The metaverse city is supported by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), the main government agency tasked with boosting the Emirates’ tourism industry. Aim to transform “The tourism industry towards the next generation of sustainable practices”. As a result, the Sharjahverse will be open to unprecedented access in the Emirates.
