Mühlthal – municipality puts on garbage can – district of Munich

A 120-liter rubbish bin in front of the Zur Mühle inn in the Mühlthal district of Straßlach-Dingharting will in future be a clear request to all those seeking relaxation not to leave their rubbish lying around in nature. Until now, landlord Robert Hirtl has spent quite a bit of time collecting the legacies of the large influx of visitors. He also had the garbage disposed of at his own expense. Mayor Hans Sienerth did not want to leave the innkeeper and the residents in Mühlthal alone with the problem. “The Mühlthal with its section of the Isar is one of our most valuable nature reserves in the municipality, but also in the district of Munich,” says Sienerth. He, too, had already noticed the increasing amount of garbage. The municipality will pay the garbage fees for the new bin.
