– Situation under control in Crolles:

According to our information, the situation is now under control in Crolles, but the RD 1090 is still cut in the sector located at the limit of the municipalities of Crolles and Lumbin, at Montfort, a detour has been put in place. In the middle of the day, bridges spanning the Montfort stream were blocked by trees and boulders, causing the torrent to overflow. A house was flooded, the occupant of the premises being evacuated and taken care of by municipal services. The intervention of the technical services to unblock the torrent made it possible to avoid the general evacuation of the sector, the gendarmerie carrying out a reconnaissance on both sides of the watercourse. A watch must be kept this evening to alert the inhabitants in the event of a new incident.

– Combe de Gières: clearance work in progress

In the plain of Bouchage, the mayors are on alert. Isère has been on yellow rain-flood vigilance since this Wednesday morning, December 29. The members of the Haut-Rhône water defense union (Sydcehr) carefully scrutinize the rise in water levels to the right of the Brangues pumping station. At the end of the day, the level recorded was 205.35 meters above the sea. “We are in a flood watch cell. We are monitoring the evolution of the situation, ”confirms Annie Pourtier, mayor of Bouchage, one of the member municipalities of Sydcehr with Brangues, Les Avenières-Veyrins-Thuellin and Groslée-Saint-Benoit.

As a reminder, if the score reaches 205.95, the crisis unit is activated, the pumps stop and the decision flooding the Plain of Bouchage can be taken. “We’re not there yet, but we have to be vigilant. 3:55 p.m .:

According to the department’s services, the D290A departmental road is currently closed to traffic in both directions and to all vehicles in Villard-Bonnot due to a landslide. A diversion is set up by the RD523 and RD290. In addition, the D526 is also closed due to a mudslide in Chantepérier at the Col d’Ornon. Deviation by RN85 and RD1091.

In Crolles, the departmental road 1090 is cut because the road is flooded at the hamlet of Montfort. Deviation by RD 10, RD523 and RD29 via Villard-Bonnot, Froges, Tencin and Goncelin.

3.30 p.m .:

Traffic is cut off in both directions on the RD524 between Vaulnaveys and Vizille, the canal along the road having overflowed. On the other hand, traffic is possible, still on the RD524 between Gières and Uriage where some flows have been absorbed by the technical services, noted the Dauphiné Libéré.

In addition, the road is also flooded on the D7B, in Chichilianne, between Donnière and Ruthière in the Vercors. Traffic is interrupted.

Floods and mudslides occurred in several areas of southern Isère on Wednesday afternoon following heavy rainfall. Traffic is particularly disrupted in Grésivaudan. In the valley of Gières, on the RD 524, traffic is made difficult by mudslides.
