MSI G274QRFW specifications
The G274QRFW supports refresh rates of up to 170 Hz via DisplayPort 1.4 or 144 Hz via HDMI 2.0b. MSI has also implemented a console mode that hits 120Hz at 1080p.
The panel is of the regular 8-bit + FRC type, has a response time of 1 ms and a brightness of 300 NITS. The contrast ratio of 1000:1 is good and the 125% of the SRGB color gamut is rather rare!
Variable refresh rates
The G274QRFW supports AMD Freesync Premium and is G-Sync compatible with a refresh rate of 48 to 170 Hz. MSI has also implemented a feature the company calls Night Vision that helps brighten dark scenes in games. The G274QRFW monitor also features anti-flicker technology and MSI Less Blue Light Pro, which reduces blue light from the display.
