Print function
Since Firefox 114 for Android, printing from websites is possible if websites provide a corresponding button. Otherwise, Firefox for Android has offered the option of saving websites as PDF since version 108, which can then be used to print out the respective website using the PDF viewer of your choice.
Firefox 118 for Android integrates a print button in both the main menu and the share menu so that you can print any website directly from Firefox.
Clear website data without history
When deleting browser data, deleting website data (such as local storage) was previously only possible together with deleting the history. As of Firefox 118, this is no longer linked to the history. Instead, website data is now deleted along with the cookies.
New introductory tour instead of onboarding cards
New users now see a two-screen introductory tour when they first start, instead of the onboarding cards that were previously displayed one below the other. This change was already gradually rolled out in previous versions of Firefox and is now active for all users.
Other new features of Firefox 118 for Android
When you press a shortcut on the home screen, if that page is already open, Firefox will now jump to it instead of opening the same page again.
If the website protocol is omitted when saving new access data, Firefox now automatically adds https:// as the protocol.
