A candidate who touched Vianney right in the heart. This Saturday March 2, TF1 broadcast the fourth episode of the blind auditions of season 13 of The Voice, presented by Nikos Aliagas. After Ambre Ever, the coaches Zazie, Bigflo & Oli, Vianney and Mika were able to hear the performance of Mewhy, a 27-year-old young man from Brussels. Real name Gilles, he works in everyday life; panade being the name given in the country to the porridge food given to children. Mewhy performed in piano-voice on a famous song by Michel Jonasz, Holidays by the sea. Bigflo & Oli turned around at the first notes, quickly followed by Mika and Vianney. In the meantime, Zazie, nicknamed the Reaper by the Toulouse duo, has also turned around. This twist did not prevent Vianney from telling Gilles, aka Mewhy, what was on his heart. “You brought back things in me from childhood. This song is my parents. We are a large family and vacations by the sea were the simple and ultimate joy of the year for which they bled all their lives. It’s their life project. I held on for the whole song.”explained the artist.

Subsequently, while Zazie had her turn to say something, Bigflo and Oli tried to block her, but without success, since this option is only accessible once per talent. Eventually, the Belgian candidate chose Mika to continue the adventure ; he was part of his second choice after Vianney. Mika therefore proved to be a fine strategist on this one.
