A mountain biker fell down an embankment in the district of Bamberg and was rescued by the mountain rescue service with a cable and stretcher. The injured 64-year-old was then taken to the hospital, the police said on Tuesday. The woman drove along with her husband on a narrow forest path near Kemmern am Main on Sunday. In doing so, she fell about four meters down with her e-mountain bike for reasons that were initially unclear. She could not extricate herself from her plight.
