The 40-year-old from Austria had repeatedly violated the overtaking ban on Autobahn 92 in the area of a construction site near Wang and was also driving much too fast. During the subsequent check, the police officers showed the man his violations on video. “Of course, the officials did not respond to the offer of money,” emphasized a police spokesman. In addition to a fine of 400 euros and a driving ban, the driver must now also expect to be charged with bribery, it said.
