Moto2 FT3: It’s getting faster

Roberts fell a second time. This should definitely be the end of the session for him. Lopez, meanwhile, sets a new personal best of 1:34.786 minutes. And Canet can also improve. He is new fourth behind the Ajo-Duo. Ogura holds fifth place.

11:26 a.m

Moto2 FT3: Schrötter fights

The track fills up again for the last ten minutes. Schrötter can improve and moves up to 14th place in the overall standings. That would put him straight into Q2, but he is in the ejection seat. Surely that won’t be enough.

11:20 a.m

Moto2 FT3: standings

The box is currently on the box. The order in this session sees Fernandez ahead of Acosta and Ogura. Behind them are Pasini, Salac, Dixon, Aldeguer, Lopez, Arbolino and Arenas.

Only a handful of riders haven’t been able to improve on yesterday. According to the current status, Canet, Chantra, Alcoba and Beaubier would be the last four in the overall standings, moving directly into Q2.

Moto2 FT3: Championship leader in front

Fernandez followed suit and passed Acosta in the classification with a time of 1:34.903 minutes. The two Ajo pilots have been the measure of all things so far.

Moto2 FT3: Ogura third

Ogura can also improve again. In this session he climbs up to third place and ranks right behind championship leader Fernandez. Pasini is fourth, Salac fifth. Schrötter doesn’t really get going. The German is in 15th place.

Moto2 FT3: Acosta undercuts itself

Another driver crashed, Roberts. The live timing is letting us down again. But on TV you can see that Acosta beats his own best time by two thousandths. The new record is now 1:34,946 minutes.

Moto2 FT3: Pasini strong

Live timing is working again. And it is Pasini who is currently leading the session with a time of 1:35.254 minutes. In the overall classification, he ranks fourth behind Acosta, Fernandez and Lopez.

Some drivers were already able to improve in the first ten minutes. Including World Championship chaser Ogura, who is eighth in the combined timesheets.

11:03 a.m

Moto2 FT3: Vietti down

Vietti crashes in the early stages of turn 2. The negative trend of the former world championship leader continues. Unfortunately the live timing is on strike at the moment. That’s why we can’t exactly understand the current lap times. But nobody seems to be on the road faster than yesterday.
