Morocco: International aid begins – politics

In Morocco, after the severe earthquake, rescue teams from Spain and Great Britain began their work to support the local emergency services. In the meantime, they are primarily fighting against time: hundreds of people are still believed to be under the rubble on the third day after the disaster. The window of opportunity in which survivors can still be found is slowly closing. The search is currently in full swing, especially in the remote mountain villages in the Atlas Mountains.
