More than half a million homes are still without electricity after the passage of storm Ciaran, government spokesperson Olivier Véran said on Friday, assuring however that “the situation is improving”.

“We were this morning at 7:30 a.m. around 523,000 homes still cut off from electricity”, including “more than 350,000 in Brittany”, specified Olivier Véran on BFMTV and RMC, adding that “the situation is improving thanks to the action of Enedis agents and the emergency services”.
