More personal responsibility for contact persons – Ebersberg

The number of new infections with SARS-CoV-2 decreased by Thursday compared to the previous week. 574 new infections were reported, last week there were 796. Currently 3653 people from the district have been proven to have tested positive for the corona virus, a total of 43,417 people so far. 39,496 are considered cured, 268 unfortunately passed away.

In the meantime, the health department no longer orders quarantine for contact persons who live in a household with infected people. The Bavarian Ministry of Health points out that the number of vaccinated people is now high and the course of the disease is mostly less severe due to the predominant omicron variant. Anyone who has had close contact with an infected person must limit contact with other people, especially those at risk, on their own responsibility. If signs of illness appear, one should immediately self-isolate and contact a doctor.
