The population is aging, but the elderly are hardly represented in the Bundestag. They are becoming fewer and fewer in Parliament. One would like to see a few old and very old politicians in the Bundestag, at least a few more: not only the eighty-year-old Wolfgang Schäuble, but also, for example, the FDP politician Gerhart Baum.
