It’s not often that people open their mouths to those they depend on. And who in the cultural sector would not be dependent? As a rule, even the “independent scene” has all sorts of pots to draw from in the Free State or in their municipalities. There is hardly anyone who has not already submitted an application for funding or hopes to at least be considered next time. This inhibits the bite force. This applies all the more to those directly employed by the city or state. Who wants to carelessly jeopardize their friendly contract extension or promotion?
