A 34-year-old pregnant woman crashed into a lamppost in Moosach on Tuesday morning and apparently suffered minor injuries. According to the fire department, the woman drove out of town with her three-year-old daughter in a Skoda Octavia on Dachauer Strasse and lost control of her car at Ludwigsfelder Strasse. The reasons for this are still unknown.
The woman drove over the central reservation, touched an oncoming vehicle and was thrown back onto the green belt. There she crashed into a lamppost, which snapped off, according to the fire brigade.
The woman and her three-year-old daughter were then taken to a Munich clinic for more detailed clarification. According to a spokesman for the fire brigade, there was no evidence of serious injuries at the scene of the accident, and the woman was responsive.
