Moonfall: Nasa reacts to disaster film – “Moon stable in orbit”

Now the US space agency NASA was apparently forced to restore the image of the near-Earth satellite. On Twitter, the authority emphasized the positive influence of the moon on life on earth, but tagged the Emmerich disaster blockbuster.
The “Moonfal” makers did not want to let this mention sit and asked whether the astronomers wanted to say that it could not happen that the moon fell to earth.
“No,” NASA replied, accompanied by two distinct emojis.
In order for the film to appear as realistic as possible, the production was advised by NASA experts during the shooting.
In a tweet, the production wrote, “…OK, so you’re saying nothing in Moonfall is real. At least you guys helped us make it look real.”
The makers then used the exchange of blows for a little free PR and added a short making-of video to their tweet.
