The future of Mohamed Salah seemed unclear at times in the last few months. But now he has decided to stay in Liverpool.
Offensive star Mohamed Salah would like to end his career at Liverpool one day. The Egyptian emphasized this in an interview.
“If you ask me, I would like to stay here until the last day of my football career,” said Salah Sky Sports, but also added: “But I can’t say much about it – it’s out of my hands.”

Salah, who came to Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, is under contract with the Reds until 2023. In the past few months there have been again and again rumors about a possible departure of the 29-year-old towards Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain.
In addition, the English media recently reported that the extension of Salah’s contract continues, also because of his very high salary demands. “It depends on what the club wants, not on me,” said Salah. “At the moment I can’t see myself playing against Liverpool. That would make me sad. It’s difficult, I don’t want to talk about it, but it would make me really sad.”
Salah is currently in top form and is currently the absolute key player in coach Jürgen Klopp’s team. In eleven competitive appearances this season, the Egyptian international has already scored twelve goals and four assists.
