Football star Mohammed Salah from Liverpool FC has called for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip with a video message. Humanity must prevail.” Salah refrained from commenting on Hamas’ attacks on Israel in the 51-second message. He had previously been criticized in his home country of Egypt for not speaking out about the dramatic situation in the Middle East. Some football fans had started an online campaign against the Egyptian international.
