A wild boar ran over a guest in a restaurant in the Kronach district, damaged furniture and left blood behind. The animal got into the winter garden on Sunday and injured itself on a damaged glass front, the police said on Monday. The panicked animal then ran over a 64-year-old, who was slightly injured.
On the neighboring property in Mitwitz, a second wild boar ran into the garden fence, it was said. After residents scared the animal away, it ran across the street and into a glass door. A search for the animals was unsuccessful.
