Missing baby boy found safe and sound at grandmother’s house

A 9-year-old child, reported missing in Saint-Gaudens (Haute-Garonne), was found safe and sound at his grandmother’s house, learned TF1/LCI with the public prosecutor of Saint-Gaudens.

The little boy disappeared during a village festival in Saleich, around 4 am. The parents began research on their own, before contacting the police. An important system was then put in place to find the child: more than a hundred gendarmes and soldiers were deployed. It was the latter who found him at his grandmother’s.

According to the elements of the investigation relayed on TF1, the boy would have called his grandmother on his parents’ phone during the evening to ask him to come home because he was tired. She then came to pick it up.
